The Tactical Action Game Returns For A Brand New Outing On The Wii Console!
Take command of an elite army and battle across land, sea and air in Battalion Wars II on Wii. The second game in the series features the same blend of fast-paced action and strategy that made the original GameCube hit so unique, and uses the capabilities of Wii to take the Battalion Wars experience to a whole new level.
Use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to direct your troops to victory, taking control of lone soldiers, devastating battleships and high-tech fighter planes on your way to averting a catastrophic world war. You'll take charge of six warring armies as you unravel the reasons behind the conflict, utilising all of their military might during a host of action-packed missions.
With the freedom to choose how you tackle each mission you'll need to carefully plan your strategy to succeed. Should you attack in numbers on the ground, swoop over enemy territory with your bomber or send in the heavy tank to get the job done? In Battalion Wars II you have the power to form a plan and execute it in the blink of an eye. Just make sure you don't loose your cool when the flak starts flying!
A combination of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk gives you total control over your units, allowing you to direct them with the Control Stick as you use the Wii Remote to aim at enemies, determine the camera angle and identify targets for your troops. Gestures with both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk enhance the action further as you prompt soldiers to dodge bullets or have fighter planes perform barrel rolls by making simple context-sensitive movements.
The ability to capture enemy buildings such as barracks and airfields and use them for your own ends adds extra depth to each mission, while the option of checking out an aerial view of the battlefield gives you vital insights as you piece together your strategy.
As well as playing through the packed single-player mode, you can go online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and engage in three different multiplayer game types on 16 different maps, battling against other generals to prove your military might or working alongside friends in Co-op mode. Whatever front you decide to fight on, get ready to engage in a new kind of warfare only possible on Wii.
