With its 2013 edition, Pro Cycling Manager pushes race realism even further with a more refined Career mode. Use our remodelled and improved interface to better prepare for your season. Negotiate the team’s objectives with your sponsors, and plan the races/your riders’ objectives according to the desired results and each rider’s expectations. Strive to satisfy each member of the team throughout the season with regard to their race schedule: take into account the prestige of each race, and ensure that the event matches the rider’s profile otherwise it may knock his satisfaction!
Plan the training schedule of your riders and take into account the management of your riders’ fitness: you must manage the frequency of the events your riders take part in and their recovery time, and you must ensure that they are fresh enough to perform well in any forthcoming races.
The races themselves are as realistic as ever, thanks to our optimised IA, which sorts the men from the boys in the mountain stages and hilly stages. Moreover, rider animations are more realistic and reflect the effort expended on any given portion of route. In the Classics, cobbled sections have their own level of difficulty which impacts on the number of falls, AI and the elimination of riders, thus demanding a specific race strategy and increasing the realism of these races.
