In the 1939 film, a tornado rips through Kansas, whisking Dorothy and her dog, Toto, away to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City to ask for the Wizard of Oz’s help to return home, along with a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart and a cowardly Lion who wants courage. To earn his aid, the Wizard asks them to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West who, unbeknownst to them, is already out for revenge on Dorothy for accidentally killing her sister.

This backpack takes the form of Dorothy’s dress and basket with Toto peeking out! The front zipper compartment is hidden behind the basket constructed of custom-shaped applique, including its handles that swap beneath. Dorothy’s glittery red slippers are featured as the compartment’s enamel zipper pull as well as on the back alongside the words, “There’s no place like home.” With real buttons, a striking gingham print and Yellow Brick Road themed interior lining, there’s no place like this backpack to store your belongings as you wiz throughout your day!
