More From Nintendo's Press Event - DSi XL! Super Mario Galaxy 2! Metroid - Other M!
That slick new black Wii wasn't all the Big N had to reveal yesterday afternoon! Nintendo also gave us a date of April 15 for the DSi XL, which has been chunked up to a larger size to help out those with difficulty reading the screen of the standard DSi properly (full details here very shortly).Nintendo have also given us a window of "mid year" on Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid - Other M for local release (these have been announced for May and June respectively in the US, draw your own conclusions, but keep in mind Nintendo dates don't always match up worldwide)

Also announced for Australia was Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii, which will be available in May with an optional bundle including the new Classic Controller Pro.
The US media summit promised that region would also be receiving Sin & Punishment 2 for Wii in the first half of this year and mentioned that Nintendo would be publishing Dragon Quest IX on DS, however news on these titles was unfortunately absent from the Aussie event.
And now we present the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Trailer. Yes, please!
