The mysterious thriller by Max Payne creators, Remedy, will finally make it's way to shelves mid to late May. Significant, since this bad boy has been in development for about 5 years now. Reports from the show are very positive. Check out the trailer:
CRACKDOWN 2
The very nifty, very comic-book-y cover was unveiled (see above), along with some new screens. While previous indications had this one coming the first half of 2010, it may now have slipped to the second half.
DEAD RISING 2
While Dead Rising 2 itself is multiplatform, an XboxLive exclusive chapter has been announced bridging the story between the first and second games. Plus a couple gameplay clips were unleashed, including this one, which the sqeamish would do well to scroll right past:
FABLE III
Lionhead's Peter Mollyneux gave some new details on series' next entry, focusing on the main innovations. "Touch" will play a major role, with numerous context-sensitive instances where it will come into play, with the intent of creating an emotional link between the player and the characters (Ico was mentioned as an initial inspiration). Next was weapon morphing, ie, your weapons will now alter their appearance to go along with your method of play, leading to thousands of possible individualised weapons in the game world. Finally, with your character becoming ruler of Albion as a major part of the game, Lionhead are aiming to make certain this responsibility is not taken lightly by the player, again with the intent to create an emotional connection to the world. HALO REACH
And, of course, the game that every Xbox fan is going to go absolutely insane for made a showing in the form of a new video documentary, which says a lot more about the game than we could, so stop reading this and press play!
